Why Self Doubt Is The Indicator That You Are Ready For More
Self doubt! The silent killer of dreams.
It sneaks in when you're about to take a leap.
It whispers to you, “You’re not ready.”
And, it convinces you to play small.
And then, the those around you those external doubters.
The ones you allow to hold you back they say to you...
“You can’t achieve that.”
AND.. Ever Worse...
“You’re crazy to even try.”
But here’s the truth, self doubt isn’t proof that you’re unqualified. It’s often a sign that you’re about to step into something bigger than before. You are about to smash through that glass ceiling that has been holding you back. Because what I have learnt through my journey is that growth and discomfort go hand in hand and those moments of uncertainty are often the first step toward real transformation. And, towards you living a life that you feel passionate about.
I felt this when I left my previous business to start something new. The doubt was loud, the fear was real, and the uncertainty could have stopped me in my tracks. I had many individuals doubt what I was going to do, think that I was crazy and even not agree.
And although it was hard at first, I made a decision. I wouldn’t let doubt or others opinions be the reason I held myself back. My belief in my vision had to be stronger than my fear. That was going to be the only thing that would get me over the line.
And my backup plan?
Make sure Plan A worked.
That choice and that thought shaped EVERYTHING that followed.
The reality is, everyone feels self doubt. The difference? Some people let it stop them. Others push through it. The ones who succeed aren’t the ones who have never doubted themselves, but the ones who take action anyway despite the uncertainty and despite the fear.

So then, how do you break the cycle of self doubt in your own life? Because, that's the question many individuals I work with struggle with.
The answer - start by getting curious and asking yourself these questions:
#1: Is this thought actually true, or is it just fear talking?
# 2: What’s the worst that could happen and could I handle it if it were to come true?
#3: What would I do if I ALREADY believed in myself that I could do this (that it was possible)?
Then take action anyway. Because self doubt loses its power the moment you move forward despite it.
Stop believing every negative thought and start proving yourself wrong.
Self doubt doesn’t have to be the thing that holds you back. Instead, let it be the indicator that you’re on the right path, because if you’re feeling doubt, it means you’re about to step into something bigger. The only question is, will you let it stop you, or will you push through and see what’s on the other side?
The truth is, you already have everything you need. Now it’s just a matter of believing it.
Until next time, live a successful, purposeful and fully charged life!
