It is not a replacement for clinical mental health support or sports psychology. Where needed, I encourage athletes to work alongside appropriately qualified health professionals.

The principles apply across individual and team sports. Coaching is tailored to the athlete’s specific performance environment, role, competition demands and goals.
This depends on the athlete’s goals, season and level of support required. Most athletes benefit from a structured coaching period that allows time to assess patterns, build practical tools and embed them under real competition pressure. It is a minimum 3 month commitment but I also have clients who I have been working with for years.
This can be discussed where appropriate and with the athlete’s consent. The focus is always on supporting the athlete while respecting existing coaches, parents, medical professionals and sporting systems.
